Josh Vale
Managing Director
I am the managing director of our family founded business and responsible for the day to day running of the company. I have worked in every department of our organisation since leaving school in 2002 and I have a great passion for helping our customers turn bathroom visions and dreams into a reality.
I like to spend my spare time escaping to the countryside for camping trips and music festivals with my wife, our 4 kids and Dave the dog!
Gary Shilvock
In-House Design & Sales
I am responsible for in-house design projects and have been a part of the New Wave team since 2007. Over the years, I have been challenged finding practical solutions for the smallest of cloakrooms, to large scale multi-room developments and have gained a wealth of bathroom design knowledge in the process.
As a keen cyclist, I regularly spend my spare time covering many miles on my road bike. I’m a lifelong Aston Villa fan… much to the dismay of my wife, who follows the Baggies!!
Rob Priest
Home Visit Design & Sales
I am responsible for home visit design projects. I am the newest member of the New Wave team joining in 2017, having worked in other areas of the bathroom industry for 10 years prior to this. I am always happy to provide practical advice and love to learn about new innovative product design.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, creating DIY projects and watching American Football. I also enjoy bowls, snooker and barbeque food.

From humble beginnings…
Kevin Vale, with a history of employment within the bathroom industry – from delivery driver, to area sales manager and everything in between, approached father-in-law Philip with his plan to set up a retail bathroom supply company of his own and together, in 1989 opened the original New Wave Bathrooms showroom, with a modest 6-display setting in an industrial unit, in Kidderminster.
With the recruitment of Philips’ son (Kevin’s brother-in-law) Chris in sales, Kevin’s mother Judith in accounts (and even Kevin’s Grandmother Doris, drafted in for cleaning & maintenance duties!), this family run business was able to offer Kidderminster and the surrounding areas access to high qualtiy bathroom equipment, with a customer service that was built on traditional, honest values.

Over the last 4 decades we have grown our business and fantastic reputation on recommedation. Now operating from one of the largest bathroom-only showrooms in Worcestershire, household names such as Heritage Bathrooms, Villeroy & Boch and Matki Showers are just a few on the long list of reputable manufacturers, who’s products help to make up in excess of 80 individual displays.
